We invite you to not only come to Knox Church,
                              but to get involved!
  • WORSHIP is the most important way to be involved, as our primary calling as a congregation is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever (Shorter Catechism). You’ll find that worship at KPC is not something you come to watch – but an experience to participate in. Within worship, we encourage and involve people of all ages in worship leadership, as prayer leaders, readers, musicians, in skits and drama.
  • SMALL GROUPS are a great way to grow and know!  Bible study groups, ALPHA, the Apprentices of Jesus study group, financial management, ministries to help those facing divorce, grief and single parenting happen at Knox. S.A.F.E. is a support g group for those who have a loved one caught in drug addiction. HOPE and FREEDOM is our Narcotics Anonymous group .
  • KID CONNECTION and VACATION BIBLE CAMP:  If you feel called to work with children or youth, there are opportunities to get involved with KID CONNECTION or our annual Vacation Bible Camp, which takes place in August, the second last week before school starts in September.
We welcome about 170 children to VBC each year, so there is LOTS to do!
Please watch for updates due to the pandemic guidelines.

  • HANDS ON Perhaps you like to help fix things – there‘s a place for you on the Board or a mission team. If you like to quilt or serve meals, we can help you there. If you are at home in the dirt and outdoors, we appreciate those who enjoy maintaining our church grounds and gardens. We have a group that knits each week – providing hand made goods to St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia, Strathroy Hospital, NeighbourLink, Samaritan’s Purse and more.
    • MUSIC MINISTRY If you enjoy singing, or play an instrument, please offer to participate in our music ministry, or join our choir, which rehearses for Christmas and Easter presentations.

    • HOSPITALITY  Hospitality is incredibly important to us! We appreciate help with greeting at worship services, assisting people with our lift, helping our visitors and guests feel at home in our church, both in worship and the building. We need parking lot greeters, children’s greeters and those who greet at both doors and operate our elevator. We offer a nursery care ministry, and always need willing helpers for that.
NOTE: All our childrens’ and youth ministry leaders require a police check and training in our “Leading with Care” policies.
  • COMPUTERS, VISUALS, SOUND Technical and computer skills are needed in worship, for our audio- visual set up during worship and special events.
  • PRAYER MINISTRY If you are a strong believer in prayer, we have a prayer team that responds to requests for God’s help that come from our church family and the community beyond. We also have people who pray with Pastor Chris and any guest speakers before worship. We also welcome those who might wish to pray after worship, either on their own or with a prayer partner. From April – October, we have the church open for prayer days once a month.
These are just some of the ways people-
ordinary people who serve an extraordinary God –
get involved with life at KPC.
There’s a place for you!
